Enter the Twilight Zone with the Win-O-Mart Slot

At first glance, the Win-O-Mart slot appears to depict the most mundane scene possible: a convenience store staffed by a standard-issue white guy. Then you look a little closer. Some of the items start to move like there is something alive inside. The wine bottles have necks twisted so much that they couldn’t possibly be effective at pouring wine into a glass. Then there’s the 10% off sign that comes to life and then changes back so quickly that you’ll be questioning your sanity the first time you see it out of the corner of your eye.

And just when you think you have a handle on things, you’ll hear an announcement and think, What the fuck did I just hear? One of my favorites is, “We regret to announce that bananas are back in stock. For your own safety, please do not make direct eye contact with them in the fruit and vegetable aisle.”

What I am trying to illustrate is that the Win-O-Mart slot from Print Studios took me on a wild ride before I even spun the reels. I don’t think I’ve ever been able to say that about a slot game before.

Beware of the elevator!

The slot features 26 paylines spread across its five reels. Apart from the Twilight Zone graphics and audio, the base game is fairly uneventful, featuring only a wild symbol. The slot’s free spins feature is where things start to get exciting.

Win-O-Mart’s free spins feature is triggered with three or more scatter symbols. Once triggered, you’ll be given five free spins. During free spins gameplay, special symbols will give you a chance to add additional free spins to your balance.

However, discovering gold coins is the key to the reel fun. Gold coins can randomly appear in the bottom right-hand corner of any standard symbol. When they do, they’ll be added to a meter to the left of the reels. Every five gold coins you collect will give you access to the next floor, with each floor featuring a unique bonus feature.

Level 1 introduces Wild Expansion, where any wild symbol that lands will expand to fill the entire reel. Moving to Level 2, Symbol Multipliers come into play, adding a x10 multiplier to winning symbols, which stays in place throughout the round and increases by 10 with each new win.

In Level 3, the focus shifts to high-value symbols, as all low-value card symbols are removed from the reels. Level 4 brings the Prize Wheel, where landing wheel symbols upgrades available prizes, with one being awarded at the end of the feature. Finally, Level 5 activates the Bundle Deal, where all the previous four levels are active simultaneously, providing the ultimate gameplay experience.

Each level is unique with its own graphics, making the slot feel much bigger and more involved than it has any right to be. The mad geniuses at Print Studios really went all out with this one.

If you’re not keen on waiting for the elevator of madness the old-fashioned way, you can bribe your way by using the buy bonus feature.

Is the Win-O-Mart slot off the rails or pure genius?

The Win-O-Mart slot offers a wide range of betting options, from as low as $0.10 to $20 per spin. The slot boasts high volatility, making it ideal for those seeking substantial rewards. With a multiplier of up to 10,000x, players can win a maximum of $200,000. The Return to Player rate is set at 96.2%, providing a solid balance between risk and reward for those looking to try their luck.

It’s rare that I get shocked by a slot. Nolimit City slots are shocking, but they rarely shock me because I’ve come to expect the insane from them. While Print Studios has had impulses toward the insane before with games like Hold Hand Grenade, it’s still a rarity for the company to really go so far outside their comfort zone.

That’s what I thought, at least. The Win-O-Mart slot has blown that assumption out of the water. It’s bonkers and amazing, and I love it. What a gem of a slot. I give this one an eleven out of ten.

If you are hunting for a few other Print Studios slot gems, I recommend trying out Royal Potato 2, Eldritch Dungeon, and Tarasque.
