Addressing the pink elephant

Let’s address the elephant in the room first. The pink anthropomorphic explosive that flanks the slot’s reels is terrifying. Its black dead eyes are soulless, and its huge mouth is filled with giant teeth that look capable of taking a leg. That being said, the rest of the slot looks great! It’s set in a brightly colored factory and features all manner of explosive devices, from grenades to cruise missiles and even a thermonuclear bomb. Each explosive device has its own unique animation, as do most elements in the slot’s background. This gives Bomb Runner slot a constant sense of life that really adds to the gameplay. Save the demonic pink bomb, I am a fan!

Bomb Runner slot has no free spins or bonus rounds. The slot’s bonus features are limited to a single wild feature. It is one hell of a wild feature, though.

At any time during play, up to six wild bombs can be dropped onto the reels by our dead-eyed explosive friend. However, instead of the chance of between one and nine explosives, you will only have the chance to get up to six explosives. You’ll have to decide for yourself if the price is worth the explosion.

Is Bomb Runner slot explosive or just a dud?

Bonus features are not the be-all and end-all of a great slot. Sure, they can add a significant amount to a slot’s gameplay, but unless they are implemented with a little thought and creativity, they can often take away from the slot rather than add to it.

Bomb Runner slot is exceptionally thin on bonus features relying on one extended wild-based feature. It is, however, an interesting and somewhat unique feature that has been creatively implemented into the slot. This in combination with some great graphics and a healthy 96.71% RTP rating, makes Bomb Runner slot an interesting alternative to some of the bonus-feature-rich titles from other providers.

The slot does suffer from high volatility, which will mean longer waits between wins than you’d like. However, with a potential €280,575 max win, there is more than enough reason to keep spinning.
