Fishing Kingdom Remastered: Hunt for the Big Fish!

Dynamite fishing is the ultimate in redneck craziness! It’s like bringing a nuke to a knife fight—sure, you’ll get fish, but you’ll also vaporize everything within a 100-meter radius, including your chance of ever seeing a coral reef again. What if you could bring some other kind of military tech to the realm of fishing that isn’t quite so nuts? Enter Fishing Kingdom Remastered from NetGame.

In this revamped version of the game, you’ll again be getting behind a cannon or laser turret to massacre schools of fish for wins.

Dive deep to get started

The basics of Fishing Kingdom Remastered are pretty straightforward. You set your bet amount and then start shooting fish. Each shot counts as one bet. When you pop a fish, you’ll receive your winnings. Smaller fish will take fewer shots to pop while bigger fish and bosses will take significantly more.

Fish will award, depending on their size, between 4x and 250x your bet. Bosses work slightly differently. These larger characters will periodically award prizes as you begin to defeat them. Then, once you’ve completely defeated them, they’ll award a larger final multiplier. The largest final multiplier of all the bosses is the diver which will award 1,000x your bet.

In addition to a standard bet, you can also select to activate the Boost or Laser features. Boost will give you an extra turret doubling your per-shot bet. Lazer will allow you to lock on a target with a constant stream of bets until the character pops or moves off the screen. If you choose to, you can activate the Laser and Boost features at the same time.

Is Fishing Kingdom Remastered fit for the table?

Fishing Kingdom Remastered is a medium-volatility slot game developed by NetGame, offering a bet limit that ranges from $0.01 to $2. With an RTP of 96.12%, players have a chance to win up to $2,000, thanks to the game’s 1,000x multiplier. This game, as a result, provides a balanced gaming experience, catering to both casual players and those seeking larger wins.

I’m not so sure if I’d call what NetGame did with Fishing Kingdom remastering. The graphics are the same and the gameplay is nearly identical. What’s different is the addition of features and characters. I think a better one would have been something like Fishing Kingdom Ultimate. The game itself is okay, I guess. The walrus is a weird addition. It walks around on the bottom of the ocean instead of swimming like a walrus would. It’s such an odd decision and it just looks goofy. I really wanted to like this game, but I think I’ll stick with the original. I give Fishing Kingdom Remastered a seven out of ten.
