Holy Hand Grenade Slot is Not for The Faint-Hearted
Monty Python and the Holy Grail is a classic comedy film from 1975, directed by Terry Gilliam and Terry Jones. The movie is a parody of the legend of King Arthur and his knights as they embark on a quest to find the Holy Grail. One of the most memorable scenes in the film is the appearance of the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, a fictional weapon used to defeat the “killer rabbit of Caerbannog”.
I’m really not sure if Print Studios was aiming for this reference with its new Holy Hand Grenade slot, but it was the first thing I thought of when I heard the name.
And the lord said unto the goat
When the Holy Hand Grenade lands on the reels it will explode, taking many of the slot’s symbols with it. All symbols that are obliterated in the blast will transform into the same symbol for the chance to complete winning combinations.
Between each reel are SuperSpinners. Any winning line that crosses a SuperSpinner will have its payout amount multiplied by the value displayed on the spinner.
The appearance of three or more goat symbols will trigger a round of the slot’s free spins feature. Three goats will award seven free spins, four will award nine spins, and five will award 11 spins.
When a Holy Hand Grenade lands during free spins, it will award two additional spins. It will also set a sticky frame. If another Holy Hand Grenade lands on the sticky frame it will turn into a Mega Holy Hand Grenade. Additionally, if the blast of a Holy Hand Grenade overlaps a sticky frame, a new Holy Hand Grenade will be spawned on the sticky frame. This gives you a shot at some impressive wins that cascade across the reels.
If you’re not keen on waiting around for holy communion, you can select to purchase a round of the slot’s bonus feature.
Is Holy Hand Grenade slot hell bound?
If I had to describe Holy Hand Grenade slot in one word, it would be blasphemous. Now, that’s not necessarily a bad thing – I happen to be a fan of Monty Python’s Holy Grail. However, if this is something that is going to bother you, it’s probably best to stay away from this one. That said, the slot has great graphics that take a quirky look at the theme and the bonus features are plentiful. The Holy Hand Grenade feature during free spins is particularly noteworthy as one of the best of its kind I’ve ever seen.
The slot also has an exceedingly divine 20,000x max multiplier. This means that if you’re betting at the €0.10 a spin minimum, you’ll still have the chance to win up to €2,000! The slot does have high volatility, which means that while you’re chasing those rare big wins you won’t be able to count on smaller consistent wins. The slot has an RTP of 96.45%.
If you’re keen on trying out a few other interesting slots from Print Studios, I recommend giving the cyber punk-themed Reapers or the glistening Crystal Golem a try.
