The 212 blackjack strategy is rather simple. You start off by betting two units, and if you win, your next hand you bet one unit. If you win that hand, you then bet two units. Should you win that hand as well, you will bet three units, increasing by one unit for every additional win. However, if you lose a hand, you reset back to the beginning – two units. This progressive strategy favors streaks and due to this you will be able to win more money over time should you keep hitting streaks – a common way to win in blackjack.
How Long Can I Play for Using the 212?
A question we keep getting about our betting strategies is, how long will I be able to play for with €100. So, to give you an accurate answer we sat down and played using this strategy. Now, it’s important to note that when testing this we played using basic strategy, so bear this in mind. After several tests, we found that you can comfortably play for around an hour to an hour and a half with a €100 stack of chips. Do take this time with a pinch of salt as if you hit several bad runs then you could get cleaned out pretty quickly.

We played using this strategy and basic strategy with three €100 stacks, and we can honestly say that the results are mixed. On our first test we turned out €100 into €390 after one hour of playing, while we were bankrupt on the second. However, with the third we finished up with €115 after an hour of playing. No strategy is completely flawless and will guarantee you wins, it’s all down to the cards. If you tally up our profits and losses using the 212 blackjack strategy, we were up €305 over the three sessions. That’s a pretty good return for three hours of blackjack and a winner in our books.
