The traditional three rows of reels weren’t enough to contain the fearsome Viking maidens of Troll Hunter. The solution? A unique 5×5 square slot layout.
The unique nature of this slot doesn’t stop at the number of rows. Instead of spinning reels, symbols simply drop down from the top of the screen. Any symbols involved in winning combinations are removed, allowing the remaining symbols to fall into their place, possibly triggering additional wins. It’s sort of like a Vikings-themed Candy Crush Saga game.
Adding to the slot’s theme is an animated Viking maiden standing guard next to the reels at all times. When three of the same character’s symbols line up vertically, horizontally or diagonally on the reels, they’ll be substituted in for their turn at guard duty.
