Score Big Wins in Penalty Shoot-Out: Street
Forms of what could be considered early iterations of football (or soccer for our American readers) originated in medieval Britain. However, the games weren’t as organized as they are today and often included extreme violence. What we know today as modern football was born out of public schools in the UK in the early 19th century and by the end of the century, standardization had made the game what we know today.
Now that you’ve learned about the evolution of football, let’s take a look at the evolution of a series of games from Evoplay that resulted in the release of the provider’s new title Penalty Shoot-Out: Street.
Evolution of the Penalty games
Penalty Shoot-Out: Street is the third instalment in Evoplay’s Penalty series of games. Each of the series’ games is based on the basic premise of a penalty shootout with players needing to score a goal to claim a win.
The first game in the series was called Penalty Shoot-Out and was released in May 2020. This version of the game took on much the same format as the latest instalment which the same character in goal. However, this first version of the game had much less playability than the newer version.
Penalty Series was the next game in the series and was launched in December 2021. This entry in the series marked a significant departure from the original. Instead of a simple instant win game, Penalty Series was more like an interactive simulated sports betting game with a variety of bet types. The game also allowed players to go into the goals and try to save a penalty instead of just trying to score.
This month, Evoplay released the latest addition to its Penalty series of games, Penalty Shoot-Out: Street. The game substitutes traditional football in a stadium for street football on the streets of Brazil. It also returns to the Penalty Shoot-Out roots, offering the same format and character in goals.
The big difference is the gameplay. Instead of clicking where you want the ball to go, the kicking process is interactive, allowing you to pull the cursor in the direction you want the ball to go. This interactive element makes the game significantly more engaging than its two predecessors. The Evoplay team also stepped up on the graphics with Penalty Shoot-Out: Street, without a doubt, featuring the best illustrations of the three Penalty games released thus far.
Has Evoplay scored the winner with Penalty Shoot-Out: Street?
Penalty Shoot-Out: Street is a casual game. It’s not going to offer hours of entertainment as it really is focused on a few minutes of great gameplay here and there. On that benchmark, it delivers in spades. The graphics are great, the gameplay entertaining and the potential winnings aren’t bad either.
The game offers the chance to score up to €180,000 in winnings with a max multiplier of 2,400x. However, the lowest bet amount per shot at goal is €1. This, as a result, certainly won’t be a game for players on a budget. If you are on a budget, I definitely recommend still checking the game out but using the free-play mode so as to not break your bank. The game has an RTP of 96%.
If you’re looking for a few Evoplay slots that I recommend you try out after Penalty Shoot-Out: Street, Wheel of Time, and Redrose Sanctuary Bonus Buy would be at the top of that list.
