The Battle for Wins Returns in Domnitor’s Treasure Slot
It’s not a spelling mistake, Domnitor was apparently the official title given to a ruler of Romania during the late 1800s. Why companies insist on using terms that most of their audience won’t understand always confuses me. And BGaming has done it not once but now three times with the same term with the release of Domnitor’s Treasure slot, the sequel you never knew you didn’t want until now.
Let the battle commence
Domnitor’s Treasure slot features five reels and 25 paylines. The slot’s gameplay is fairly straightforward with a wild serving as the only bonus feature that can be utilized in the base game. The rest of the slot’s features are bonus rounds that will have to be triggered.
The appearance of six or more coin symbols on the reels will trigger a round of the slot’s Hold & Win feature. Once triggered the coins symbols used to unlock the feature will be fixed in place, and you will be awarded three spins to add additional coins to the reels. If you add another coin, your three spins will be reset. If you go three spins without adding any extra coins, your round will be concluded with all the multiplier values being added together.
Bonus symbols on reels one, three, and five will trigger a round of five free spins. Once a round of free spins is triggered, reels two, three, and four will become one giant symbol that will count as nine of exactly the same symbol. This gives you a shot at some big wins.
If you’re not keen on waiting around to get an arrow to the chest, you can select to purchase a round of the slot’s bonus features. The slot’s buy bonus features allow you to purchase a round of either the free spins or hold and win bonus features.
Is Domnitor’s Treasure slot fantastic or forgettable?
While Domnitors and Domnitor’s Deluxe had a consistent look and feel, Domnitor’s Treasure slot is something completely new.
If you’re looking for big multipliers and huge wins, this is not the slot for you. Domnitor’s Treasure slot offers a max multiplier of just 1,532x and requires you to bet at €125 a spin to pursue the €191,500 max win. As a result, the slot is geared more toward longer casual gaming sessions. However, with the medium to high volatility, you may have to endure stretches of few winning opportunities if you plan on sticking around. The slot has a 94.92% RTP.
If you’re looking for a few other Medieval treasures from BGaming, I recommend giving Avalon: The Lost Kingdom and Brave Viking a try.
