Once again NoLimit City has killed it with this way-out, 5×3 grid slot game. They’ve taken an obscure theme and made it into an absolute cracker! Just look at the attention to detail!
It starts with the cutscene where a newspaper, the Doom’s Daily, floats into view. The headline screams, “That’s a sh:tload!” and pictured is TP with radioactive green stuff dripping off it and a dude in a biohazard suit with a crown on.
In the lobby, and next to the reels is a box that shows the ways to win, you’ll find a pigeon with a gas mask, and there’s the weather-worn biohazard sign and the red electrical outlet behind the “Spin” button – this game is quite a thing to behold.
We also love that tinny soundtrack that seems to be coming from an old, battered AM/FM radio somewhere in the background. But enough about the look and feel; let’s move onto the features of this game.
When it comes to symbols, you’ll find the xWays. These can land on the middle 3 reels and if more than one does, then all of the xWays symbols reveal the same symbol. Next up is xSplit Wilds. These can only land in the base game on the last 3 reels and can convert to regular Wilds. They can also be split by another xSplit Wild and in this case, the xWays Multiplier will be doubled per split.
Scatters, in the form of neon yellow and green warning signs, can land on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5. They don’t get split by the xSplit Wilds; instead, they become Super Scatters. If you land 3 or more Scatters, this will trigger the Bunker Raid Spins.
Land 3 or 4 Scatters or Super Scatters, and this will set off 7 or 10 Bunker Raid Spins. Here, the xWays symbols remain sticky throughout the feature. Super Scatters convert to xWays, as do all of the symbols below. Each new xWays symbol gets you an additional spin. Every third xWays symbol that you collect, will bump you up on the Hoarder Level.
Once you hit Level 4, the game shifts to the Wasteland Free Spins feature. You’ll see only 4 symbols on the grid. Now, the 9 xWays symbols merge to form a super symbol. Each one will have a count of 2x – 4x for each spin and they will multiply each other.

We simply have to applaud NoLimit City for its ingenuity and for taking the road less traveled. xWays Hoarder xSplit slot is super entertaining and unique, but it’s not all show and tell.
