CricX Review

I once dated a young lady💁‍♀️ whose father believed he was smarter🧐 than he actually was. He invented a cricket🏏 board game and marketed it for a decade. He believed in this game so much that he bankrupted the family😲.

But he was also a philanderer who cheated on his wife with a lady a few years older than my girlfriend🤯. And when he got her pregnant, he left his family and joined a crazy church⛪ with his mistress and left the country to become a missionary.

I wonder what his reaction would be if I sent him the cricket-themed CricX crash game from Onlyplay.

Gameplay

CricX is a multiplayer crash game where players can place up to 2 bets ranging from $0.50 to $15.

There are a few moments when you and the other players can place your bet. Then the round begins, and a cricket ball enters the screen from the left, and a multiplier starting at 1x appears.

During the round, the multiplier continues to increase incrementally until the ball flies off. All you need to do is hit the Take button before that happens to claim your bet times the multiplier before the ball flies off, or else you lose.

The highest possible multiplier you can get is 10,000x; if you place 2 bets totaling $30, you can win $300,000! The RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate.
here is 97%, and the volatility is high
.

To the left of the screen, you can see all the players usernames, bet amounts, the multipliers they tapped out at, and their win totals for that round. Just above the betting area, you can interact with other players by clicking an emoji, which expands a menu.

You can react to the game with a laughing-tongue-out face, swearing face, sunglasses face, slot, screaming face, poop, money tongue, four-leaf clover, praying hands, surprised face, fire, and beer emoji.

All the players' emoji reactions pop out from the bottom of the play area during the round.

Above the game area, you can see the history of previous rounds. Above that, there is a small menu where you can view the balance of your funds, toggle the animation on or off, access the sound button, and adjust the game settings to ensure fairness.

If you don’t know what a provably fair game is, you can read more about it here.

At the very top right corner of the screen is a hamburger menu where you’ll find the game’s information.

Performance

I didn’t encounter any issues while playing this game on my gaming laptop and Android phone.

Maximum Win

You can place 2 bets between $0.50 and $15, with a maximum of $30 per round. The highest multiplier, 10,000x, has the potential to reach $300,000.

Conclusion

Crash games are certainly gaining popularity. I see more and more of them coming out, and some are really creatively designed, or minimally designed for low latency so you can play on any device.

CricX is a reskin of Onlyplay’s previous space-themed provably fair crash game, CosmoX. I know this because the game looks exactly the same, with the exception of a cricket ball instead of the space guy sitting in a car.

As long as the game functions as intended, its reskin doesn't really matter. While most of the time, playing these types of games is a single-player experience, seeing even just emoji reactions to the action is fun.

If you have nerves of steel to not chicken out before the crash and luck like a leprechaun to get up to the highest possible multiplier, test both out on this brand-spanking-new crash game.

PaylinesPaylines are preset lines that run across the reels, and when you land matching symbols on them, that will result in a payout. The more paylines, the more ways you can win, but also the higher your bet per spin.: N/A
Volatility RateSlot games can have low, medium, high, or extremely high volatility rates (or a combination thereof).

The less volatile the game, the more often it should pay out, but the lower the amount, the less the payout, as this is in keeping with the risk you’re taking. Volatility rate should be considered in conjunction with a game’s RTP.
