When it comes to basic slot themes, Ancient Egypt really has to be at the top of the list. Fruities have some nostalgic charm, Aztec themes are still fairly exciting, and Halloween is my pride and joy, but Ancient Egypt is so overdone it’s enough to make you want to scoop your brain out with a spoon (a la mummies). Still, this slot from Booming Games does manage to somewhat turn the party, thanks to some solid graphics and great features.

Gameplay

Lucky Scarabs is a 5-reel, 9-payline video slot from Booming Games. What this slot lacks in creativity it makes up for in features and payouts - almost enough to forgive Booming for falling back on ANOTHER Egyptian-themed slot. Symbols are the standard fair - including a sexy explorer, a mummy, Anubis, and royal values from 10 to Ace. The Wild is represented by a Scarab, of course, and the Scatter is represented by a golden treasure chest (ooooh, the intrigue).

Controls are located beside the reels and work as follows: Bet +/-, Balance, Spin, Coin Value, Info, and Menu.

The Wild symbol substitutes for all symbols but the Scatter.
