Crystal Skull Dice Slot Review

Ah, the crystal skulls—one of history's greatest mysteries. They could be ancient artifacts crafted by a lost civilization or alien relics left behind to confuse humans. But they might just be an elaborate prank😜.

Dan Akroyd seems to think they're legit—and he was an original Ghost Buster. Even the Ancient Aliens guy, Giorgio Tsoukalos, thinks the Native Americans were onto something. If we find all 13, Earth will join an intergalactic partnership with 12 other alien species👽.

Granted, these are the same people living essentially in the Stone Age when they met the Spanish, so if they knew secrets of the universe it really would be something🤨. I'm no expert, but I put more faith in Crystal Skull Dice slot Endorphina.

Gameplay

When I first read this game's title, I was sure I would find a dice-rolling game that would be novel and fun. But alas, Crystal Skull Dice slot has 5 reels and 3 rows flanked by Aztec statues. The game lets you choose between 10 to 25 paylines.

The dice in this game are the symbols; a dice with a lady explorer, a statue, a mask, and a snake make up the high symbols. The titular Crystal Skull Dice acts as this game's Wild symbol that can substitute for any pay symbols except the Bonus die.

There is a Scatter die with a pyramid that pays anywhere when 3 or more land on a spin. The Bonus die shows a coin that only lands on reels 3, 4, and 5. When 3 or more land, it triggers the Wheel of Fortune Bonus Game. But more on that in a sec.

First, this game's RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate.
is 96%
and has medium volatility. You can wager between $0.25 and $112.20 per spin. The top multiplier is 3,333x, which can lead to the game's biggest payout of $374,962.50 if you bet the highest in the range.

Sadly, you can't play with the Australian dollar for my mates down under.

Features

WHEEL OF FORTUNE

When you trigger this feature, you're taken to a new screen with a wheel containing 10x, 12x, 15x, 20x, 25x, and Bonus segments. If you're not happy with the initial prize you land on, you can spin 3 times.

If you land on one of the multipliers and you're happy, tap the Take Win button. The multiplier will be applied to your bet to determine a prize.

You're awarded the Treasure Hunt Bonus if you land on the Bonus and click the Take Win button.

TREASURE HUNT BONUS

In this game, there are 5 levels with 5 stone masks. On levels 1 to 3, the masks hide gemstones that award a prize based on your bet amount. On levels 4 and 5, the masks hide artifacts like sculptures and snakes.

You pick 1 mask at a time on each level from 1 to 5 unless you uncover a snake that can randomly turn into an artifact or attack, and the game ends. All the prizes you uncovered are added together, and you receive the total payout and return it to the base game.

GAMBLE FEATURE

After any win in the base game or the Wheel of Fortune or Treasure Hunt, you can gamble by tapping the little red Gamble button.

A pop-up comes up with 5 cards; 1 dealer card, which is face up, and 4 facedown cards. You pick 1 of the facedown cards and have to beat the dealer's card, which will double your win. You can successfully gamble up to 10 times, but if you lose, you lose it all.

BUY BONUS

You can buy your way into the Treasure Hunt Bonus for 109x your bet.

Performance

I didn't encounter malfunctions or glitches during my time with this game.

Maximum Win

The most you can win here is $374,962.50 if you line up the top bet and the highest possible multiplier of 3,333x. The betting ranges from $0.25 and $112.20.

Conclusion

I liked the look of this game from the start. It doesn't offer the typical Free Spins or Hold and WinThis feature plays out on a new screen. Typically, you get 3 re-spins (which could be re-triggered), and the triggering symbols usually stick to the position on which they land. Your objective is to land as many symbols as possible on the grid (you could land blank tiles, too). Bonus games; instead, you get a Wheel of Fortune and Pick and Win-style Bonus Game.

For most players, that is a drawback. But, the prizes offered by the Wheel and Pick and Win are decent. And for a medium volatility game, the top prize here is darn impressive.

Another medium-volatility game, Mega Diamonds Jackpot slot, also offers a 3,333x top multiplier and only requires a $75 top bet.

On the other extreme, if you're willing to play a very high-volatility game, the Wild Card Gang slot also offers Free Spins. The top bet is $80, and a 5,000x max multiplier can lead to a $400,000 win.
