Dice Dice Baby Slot Review

While I’d usually flounder my way through some flimsy introduction in most cases, Dice Dice Baby slot from Booming Games is different.

And, technically, what I’m about to say should go under the “Gameplay” section (coming up next), but I’m going to go for it anyway.

Before you do anything, load up the game and give the soundtrack a listen. Is that not one of the most chaotic things you’ve ever heard in your life? It’s like if light jazz and Vanilla Ice’s 1990 hit Ice Ice Baby had a, well, baby!

God bless Booming Games (I really mean that). They make some excellent slots, but what on earth is this soundtrack? It’s quite literally an abomination, and I love it.

Gameplay

Since we’ve already covered the whole soundtrack situation, I’m going to dive right into the stats. Dice Dice Baby slot from Booming Games comes with a 95.4% RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate.
(which is slightly below industry average) and a high volatility rate.

High volatility rates generally mean bigger wins, so I was a little surprised to discover that this game only offers €125,000 as a max payout. That’s due to the 5,000x multiplier and €0.10 to €25 bet limits though.

As far as visuals go, Booming has elevated the classic fruit slot a bit. Sure, we have the usual suspects on the reels (cherries, oranges, lemons, bells, 7s… you get the gist), but the animations and graphics are very modern.

Dice Dice Baby slot is fully optimized for mobile play, but I’d recommend spinning in portrait mode, as you get a better view of the reels as opposed to landscape.

And in terms of layout, this game has 6 reels and 25 paylines. Pretty standard stuff.

Features

WILD

The Wild substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter, and can only land in stacks of 4 – thereby creating a Wild reel.

DICE DICE BABY FEATURE

The Dice Dice Baby feature is triggered randomly during any Base game spin. During this feature, between 1 and 6 dice can be thrown, with the number on the dice indicating which of the reels will turn Wild.

So, if you throw a 3 and a 5 then reels 3 and 5 will both be Wild.

If 6 Wild reels land, you’ll be awarded the maximum payout of 5,000x your bet.

FREE SPINS + BUY BONUS

Landing 3 Scatter symbols triggers 8 Free Spins. But, if you’re feeling particularly impatient, you can choose to buy the bonus by clicking the Buy Bonus button to the right of the reels.

It’ll cost you 100x your bet though.

Performance

Much like every other Booming Games slot I’ve ever played, this one offered no problems at all. It worked like an absolute dream on my iPhone 13 and MacBook Pro – no mess, no fuss.

Oh, and you can play on the browser of your choice.

Maximum Win

High volatility slots typically offer more than €125,000 as their maximum wins, but I’m not going to say no to a cash injection of that size. You’ll land it if you have your bet set to the €25 max, and trigger the 5,000x multiplier.

Conclusion

Aside from that bizarre soundtrack (and yes, I know where they were trying to go with it), Dice Dice Baby slot is pretty generic. It looks elevated to the level of a modern slot, precisely because it is one… but should we be patting providers on the back for that?

And while I wouldn’t refuse an extra €125,000, I am surprised that Booming Games didn’t choose to offer more. After all, high volatility usually equals moolah – you’re winning more because there’s more at stake, given that you’re likely to score payouts less frequently.

Overall, this is another fruit slot – if that’s truly your jam, give it a go.
