Double Roulette Review

I’ve seen some funny things happen at the Roulette tables during my trips to Las Vegas. One time, a guy walked up to the table, dripping in head-to-toe Gucci, and he definitely brought the attitude to match. 🕺🏻

He sat down, dropped a $100 chip on number 17, and said, “This is the one—my lucky number!” The dealer spun the wheel… and it landed on 17. 🥳 The guy jumped up, cheering, high-fiving strangers like he just won the Super Bowl.

A surprising reaction from someone trying so hard to be Mr. Cool, I thought. Riding high after a win of about $3,500, 💰he got cocky and shouted, 'Let it ride!'—then threw it all back on 17. The wheel spun… and landed on 18.

Stunned, all the color drained from his face as he mumbled, 'Guess it was only half lucky.' Then he turned around and walked out like it was all part of the plan. 😱He may have lost, but he'll forever be a legend in my eyes. The guy made our night, and I'm still talking about him!

I might just have to re-enact that first wild spin, this time on Double Roulette by Mascot. Let’s see if history (and luck) repeats itself! 🤑

Gameplay

Roulette without an actual wheel? Why not! In this version, the 'wheel' is replaced by a horizontal rotating line called the 'Game Field,' divided into red, black, and blue gem sections. The graphics are intentionally minimalistic, keeping the focus on the gameplay.

Above the Game Field, you'll see a slim scale showing the color ratio of the last 100 results. Click the icon to the right of the scale to access more detailed stats from the last 25 rounds.

Your job, of course, is to place a bet and guess which color the Game Field will land on. You can hit the BET button as many times as you want for any color and bet amount.

The payout for a correct guess is:

  • Red or Black – 2x
  • Blue Gem – 19x
The Autoplay function lets you choose the number of bets and your stake size. You can also set a stop condition to automatically end the autoplay, no matter how many rounds are left.

Example: Stop Autoplay if your balance increases by "$x".

As a player, you can change your avatar and the color of the game area. All customization options are found under the Profile tab in the top right corner. This is also where you’ll see your stats, rank, and other information.

The game includes a ranking system that lets you level up and unlock new customization options, like cell colors and avatars.

There are 6 different ranks:

  • Novice
  • Explorer
  • Challenger
  • Elite
  • Master
  • Legend

Ranks increase based on the number of bets placed during the calendar year. Advancing to a new rank unlocks one new customization option and 4 new avatars.

The game is built on the following stats: no paylines, a 95.32% RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate.
, a medium/high volatility rate, a 19x max multiplier, and a $950 max win.

You can play with both fiat and cryptocurrencies, with the exception of ETH.

Features

There are no traditional features in this game.

Performance

This game plays perfectly and I didn’t have any problems while playing.

Maximum Win

With a max multiplier of 19x, you'll need to bet $50 to win the $950 max payout. The game accepts bets as low as $0.01.

Conclusion

Things don’t get much simpler than this. The minimalistic design leaves zero distractions, and if you’re okay with that, you should give this game a spin.

I can overlook the graphics, which isn’t always the case, and it can be a fun break from the traditional Roulette wheels. The issue I have, though, is that not only is the design minimalistic, but so is the winning potential.

Since there are no numbers to bet on, just colors, the payouts are unfortunately much lower. Do I need to chase the big wins every time? No, which is why I think this game can be fun for a few spins. But in the long run, I do prefer the traditional version with a proper wheel.

One of my personal favorites is XXXTreme Lightning Roulette by Evolution. This live game has everything you need from a Roulette game. On top of the 2,000x max multiplier and a $500,000 max win, every single spin is packed with high-octane action.

The reason for this is that, on each round, 1 to 5 random numbers are struck by lightning, allowing those numbers to pay out anywhere from 50x up to 500x!
