Golden Plinko Review

People are currently talking about the man versus bear 🐻 thing. If you’ve been living under a rock 🪨, allow me to explain it. Basically, an online poll showed that women felt they’d be better off encountering a bear in the forest than a man they didn’t know.

I get where women are coming from – I lived in South Africa for many years and I don’t trust men as far as I can throw them. But on the flip side, I’ve seen The Revenant 🎥 – that whole being mauled by a bear thing doesn’t look particularly inviting. 😨

I think the safest bet is for women to stick to frogs 🐸. After all, kissing one might reveal a prince!

Golden Plinko from Belatra Games features a golden frog and the game has huge money-making potential – all without the risk of contracting warts. 😉

Gameplay

The first Plinko gameA Plinko game is played on a pyramid-shaped area with “pins” stuck in them. Much like Pinball, a ball gets released from the top and hits the pins on the way down.

Underneath the pyramid is a “tray” that catches the ball and is divided into segments; each with a multiplier value. The further towards the edge of the pyramid you go, the higher the multiplier.

Multiplier values are adjusted by cycling through the volatility settings.
was released on BitStarz in January 2024. Until this moment, Plinko Rush was the only game of its kind on our site. But its days of loneliness are finally over.

As some of y’all won’t be familiar with Plinko games, I’ll do a little explaining. Plinko is based on a traditional Chinese game that’s made up of “pins” in the form of a pyramid. So, think pinball game.

Balls get released from the top and bounce off the pins. They come to rest at the bottom of the grid in a “tray” marked with multiplier values. Whichever one you land on, is the multiplier that’ll be applied to your bet.

I’ll explore the game's inner workings under the Features section, as there are no features. So, for now, let’s check out the stats, and then we can move on.

  • PaylinesPaylines are preset lines that run across the reels, and when you land matching symbols on them, that will result in a payout. The more paylines, the more ways you can win, but also the higher your bet per spin.: None
  • RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate.
    : 96.6%
  • Volatility RateSlot games can have low, medium, high, or extremely high volatility rates (or a combination thereof).

The less volatile the game, the more often it should pay out, but the lower the amount, the less the payout, as this is in keeping with the risk you’re taking. Volatility rate should be considered in conjunction with a game’s RTP.
    : High
  • Max Multiplier: 2,000x
  • Max Win: $200,000

Features

You can configure the pyramid to have 8, 10, 12, or 14 rows. To do this, click the BET button; a pop-up box with the row selection and your bet amount will appear.

The more rows you have and the larger the risk level (I’ll get into this in a second), the bigger the multipliers you could score.

Risk is divided into 3 – there are bronze, silver, and gold options, represented by pots above the pyramid where the coins come out. The greater the risk, the greater… you get it.

If your ball lands on the golden frog, it returns to the pot. So, essentially, that’s like a free round. Pots can dispense from 5 to 100 free balls, but you don't get another free ball if a free ball hits the golden frog. Coz that would just be greedy.

To the right of the pyramid is a meter that will keep track of your 10 latest results. You can click on the clock icon in the hamburger menu to dig into more details about your previous rounds.

You can click on the trophy icon at the top right to look at all the wins in all Belatra games or see who won what on Golden Plinko.

It’s also possible to program the game to play on your behalf. Choose between 10, 20, 50, 75, 100, or an infinite amount of rounds in the Autoplay settings. You can also opt for Turbo play, and you can set limits on how much you’re willing to win or lose before the Autoplay stops.

The last thing to note is that there are 16 languages to choose from.

Performance

I played Golden Plinko for ages and not once did I have a technical issue.

Maximum Win

You can bet from $0.10 to $100, and landing the 2,000x multiplier at the largest bet gets you a payday worth $200,000.

Conclusion

Golden Plinko compares favorably to Plinko Rush in terms of its RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate.

fluctuates between 96.07% and 96.27%), and both games allow you to choose between 3 risk levels. However, there are numerous differences.

The first is that you can only play Plinko Rush on two rows (8 or 16). That game has a variable volatility rate, an 888x multiplier, and a max win of $88,800.

Clearly then, Golden Plinko is aimed at a more serious player who isn’t just here for entertainment, but who wants to make some of that sweet, sweet moolah.
