Midas Golden Plinko Review
I know a guy who has an uncanny way with women. Like, the dude doesn’t even need to try and they fall at his feet. 😎 He’s not bad-looking, but he’s no model and he’s carrying a bit more weight around the middle than he should, but that doesn’t seem to be a hindrance.
And it’s not like he’s a charmer or has tons of money 💰💰; something else is happening on an imperceptible level that draws women to him.
He has the Midas Touch 👆when it comes to babes, and I’m sure you can guess what the next game’s gonna be about.
That’s right; today we’re looking at Midas Golden Plinko from Clawbuster.
Gameplay
I’m not going to get into how Plinko works because there are a couple of reviews and articles on our blog site that do just that.
Clawbuster has busted out a unique-looking version and when you first initiate the game, you’ll be greeted by two Golden Midas heads on the grid. More on these in the feature section.
You’ll also notice that you can select the volatility rate – low, medium, high, or ultra – but the number of pegs and rows is fixed, unlike some other Plinko games. However, there’s an Ante BetAn Ante Bet is an option that costs a percentage of your bet but increases your chances of landing triggering symbols that initiate a feature., which we don’t usually see. I’ll get into that option later as well.
What is traditional is that there are no paylines. The RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. is 96.60%, the max multiplier is a massive 25,000x, and the potential payout is $250,000. Impressive!
You’ll find two types of balls in this game – a regular version (which could release Free Balls when striking the Midas Heads), and Heavy Balls (that will always release Free Balls when they strike).
Features
FREE BALLS AND GOLDEN HEADS OF MIDAS:
As you now know, Golden Heads can release Free Balls (5 to 10 of them), which could have multipliers of 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x, 25x, or 100x. Free Balls will fall and land in the multiplier tray at the bottom of the pyramid but won’t be able to trigger the Golden Heads.
Wanna know how the payouts of the Free Balls work? It’s like so: your bet amount x prize slot multiplier (the tray at the bottom) x the Free Ball’s multiplier.
ANTE BET:
Toggle this option on – at a cost of 3x your bet – and only Heavy Balls will fall, which means you’ll increase your chances of triggering Free Balls when striking a Golden Midas Head.
Performance
Midas Golden Plinko was problem-free and played perfectly during testing.
Maximum Win
You can place bets from $0.10 to $10. The max multiplier is 25,000x, and the top prize is $250,000.
Conclusion
I like Clawbuster’s approach; they’re always looking to put a spin on their games to make them unique and offer something the competition doesn’t, and Midas Golden Plinko is no exception.
Other creative approaches from the studio include Book of Claws which combines a claw game with a slot. And you’ll find a 50,000x max multiplier in that game.
The studio has done some strange things, though. Zeus vs Thanatos Claw has a low to medium volatility rate and pays $20,000, while Zombie Basketball Claw has a low volatility rate and yet you can clinch $110,000.
Coming back to the current game, I found Midas Golden Plinko to be a sweet companion that I could play on my phone while traveling on the bus or train. It’s not complicated, the stats are good, and I really can’t find much to complain about.

Volatility RateSlot games can have low, medium, high, or extremely high volatility rates (or a combination thereof).
The less volatile the game, the more often it should pay out, but the lower the amount, the less the payout, as this is in keeping with the risk you’re taking. Volatility rate should be considered in conjunction with a game’s RTP.: Variable
