Towering Pays Excalibur Slot Review
Pairing my socks after washing is a responsibility, ensuring there’s toilet paper in the house, watering my plants, turning the oven off when the apple pie’s noseporn says so - these are responsibilities in my little journey. Even DJ-ing seems like a colossal responsibility. Now imagine ruling an entire country or society… phew, I need to sit down for that one. Ah, what is that? Oh, just some biscuit crumbs. See? I forgot to hang my couch cover outside yesterday. Anyway, where were we? Yes, so the thought of ruling a crowd of people nauseates me, blurs my vision and sends me into a flat panic, thank goodness that isn’t my path, but for some, it is like your boy King Arthur and his trusty Excalibur. In Towering Pays Excalibur by Yggdrasil, we’re going to be given tips and tricks on how to do this, in case this tickles your pickle, that is.
Game Play
Towering Pays is played on a 5x3 reel, with 15 paylines, an RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. of 95.70%, a max win of €162,500, and medium volatility.
You start with a bet of 0.25 and can place down a max of 25.
The Wild in this game is King Arthur, and he replaces all other symbols aside from the Excalibur, Shield and Feature Wheel. You also have your female character symbols, the turquoise animal looking one, red statue man, horse and fox with the royal suit. The highest will pay you x150 for 5, and the lowest will pay 15 for 5.
The Excalibur shows up on reels 1-3 in the regular play and the Lancelot and Merlin rounds. Camelot and Arthur features show up on the reels 1-4 beside the 5x8 game grid.
The Excalibur may show up on the reels in the 5x8. Excalibur reel positions change to the same random symbol aside from the Feature Wheel if any show up after a spin.
A Quest bet option and a Quest Bet of 15 units may be played to enable the Hold & Win. The Excalibur could change to the Shield if the Quest bet gets played.
Any Feature Wheel/Excalibur Magic could activate the Hold & Spin with 6+ Shield symbols landing. The Quest Bet gets incrementally multiplied.
Look out for Stage Play. When the Excalibur shows up, a minimum of one position of each reel hosting these symbols will progress. Each stage adds 1 extra row and 10 extra paylines, and the stage progression will continue until there are 5 reels by 8 rows. It gets reset at the end of Avalon.
There is a Prize Multiplier, too - this may occur on any winning spins and only applies to line wins from current spins. It won’t be working with features that activate the spin.
The Feature Wheel delivers different offerings depending on when it shows up, and there are 4 wheels. For example, the Free Spin feature wheel awards Win Spins or Hold & Spin if you’re playing the Quest Bet.
These Win Spins don’t increase and with each one and the Excalibur covers reels 1-3 whilst 4-5 spin. This will call upon Excalibur Magic which triggers a reward.
We briefly mentioned the Avalon feature, and this shows up thanks to Excalibur. Again there are 4 levels of Avalon Feature Wheels, each offering a particular bonus. With the Stage Play being reset at the end.
The Free Spins Feature play is awarded after any Excalibur Magic. They give you 6 Free Spins at the beginning of each 5x3 grid, and extra Free Spins are given when the Excalibur shows up in at least one position on the active grid on each reel that has Excalibur symbols.
The Lancelot Free Spins, Merlin Free Spins, Arthur & Camelot Free Spins are 6 Free Spins with a Prize Multiplier and an extra spin when Excalibur shows up in at least one specific position.
The Arthur & Camelot have a few other specifications but are mainly the same.
The Hold & Spin gets activated when 6+ Shields show up from Excalibur Magic, and it may be triggered from the Feature Wheel feature when playing the Quest Bet. You’ll get 3 Re-spins. They work with shield symbols only and are played in the current grid if coming from the Feature Wheel or 6 Shields in Excalibur Magic, and landing 6+ from Excalibur grows the re-spin grid by 1 row to a max of 5x8.
The Buy Bonus is your Free Spin feature buy, and it’ll cost you between 1250-200.

Performance
The towering Camelot castle beside the ocean holds this scene together, with a 3D feature grid and illuminated symbols falling from the darkness up above. Yggdrasil has also ensured the button ties in with the theme, a detail worth adding. It’s the perfect combo between realism and fantasy, with intriguing characters purposed with high power. I’m not a fan of this genre, so that I wouldn’t stay for more than a few minutes, but there are zero complaints on my end when I remove my preferences.
Max Coin
The max win is €162,500
