Wild Clusters Slot Review

In my first graphic design class, I thought I was ahead of the game. I had already been messing around with Photoshop at home, so when the teacher asked, "Who knows the difference between RGB and CMYK?" I confidently shot my hand up. šŸ™‹ā€ā™‚ļø

"RGB is for screens, CMYK is for print!" I declared, like some kind of color theory guru. šŸ¤“

Feeling smug, I worked on my projectā€”a bright, glowing masterpiece with neon blues and electric greens. I was sure it would look incredible when printed. But when I got the printoutā€¦ my vibrant creation looked like pure sadness. šŸ˜„

Confused, I had to surrender and call the teacher. "Why does this look like itā€™s been cursed?" She smirked. "Because neon colors donā€™t print well in CMYK." šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

And that was the day I learned that printers šŸ–Øļøhave no respect for my artistic vision.

There are plenty of colors filling up the reels in Wild Clusters slot by BGAMING. For some reason, it reminds me of Tetris, but with a lot more money-making opportunities. šŸ¤‘

Gameplay

It's a festival of colors taking place in this game, and you'll see them all appear on a massive 7x7 grid.

On the right, there's a round color prism with five progress bars below it, while the Bonus Buy feature button sits on the left-hand side beneath the game logo. I'll dive into both of these features in just a minute.

The symbols come in a variety of shapes and colors, with the highest-paying ones being the red, yellow, green, and blue squares.

Instead of traditional paylines, BGaming uses Cluster PaysUnlike traditional paylines, Cluster Pays can award wins when a minimum number of matching symbols land adjacent to each other (vertically or horizontally), forming a cluster., where five or more matching symbols form a winning combination. The game also features the CascadeOtherwise known as a Tumble, Avalanche, or whatever a studio sees fit to name it. The idea is the same, though; winning symbols get removed, and new ones take their place. This action could result in additional wins, in which case the action continues. mechanic, giving you a chance to increase your winnings with consecutive wins.

The game is built on the following stats: a 96.71% RTPRTP stands for ā€œReturn to Player.ā€ The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a gameā€™s volatility rate.
, a very high volatility rate, a 5,000x max multiplier, and $250,000 top prize.

Features

HIGHLIGHTED SPECIAL SYMBOL

At the start of each spin, one low-paying symbol is highlighted. If any highlighted symbols form part of a winning cluster, two Wilds (represented by that same round color prisms) are added to the cluster.

GALAXY MODIFIERS

I mentioned the progress bars earlier. To fill them up, you need to collect winning symbols. Every 25 symbols collected during the same spin activates a random Galaxy modifier.

  • Gravity Wilds: Adds 3-6 Wilds to the grid, destroying adjacent symbols.

  • Starlight Upgrade: Upgrades a random low-paying symbol to a high-paying symbol.

  • Cosmic Sweep: Removes all low-paying symbols from the grid.

  • Galaxy Cross: Places a Wild in the center with diagonal lines of matching symbols.

LUCKY WILDS

On any initial non-winning spin, thereā€™s a chance to trigger Lucky Wilds, which randomly add between 4 and 8 Wild symbols to the grid.

MEGA SYMBOLS

When four matching symbols form a rectangle, they combine into a Mega symbol with a 2x multiplier. If multiple Mega symbols connect within the same winning cluster, the total multiplier increases by 1 for each additional Mega symbol.

WILD BLAST

When you collect 125 winning symbols in a single spin, you trigger the Wild Blast feature. This feature creates a 3x3 Wild symbol with a random multiplier of 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, or 100x. The multiplier applies to all winning clusters it connects to.

DROP DEAD SPIN

The Drop Dead Spin is a single-spin mode where only high-paying symbols appear on the grid. Youā€™ll land an entire row at once, aiming to fill the entire grid without interference from any skulls.

If you succeed, youā€™ll activate the Wild Blast feature, which places a Mega symbol somewhere on the grid with a random multiplier.

BUY BONUS

Clicking on the Buy Bonus will give you four different options:

Wild Boost x3: Spin with 3 Wilds in a horizontal line in the center of the grid (cost 6x)

Wild Boost x5: Spin with 5 Wilds in a cross formation in the center of the grid (cost 24x)

Wild Blast: Activates 4 random Galaxy modifiers followed by the Wild Blast feature (cost 200x)

Drop Dead Spin: One spin with premium symbols. No win triggers the Wild Blast feature (cost 92x)

Performance

I didnā€™t experience any problems while playing the game.

Max Win

When you marry the 5,000x max multiplier to a $50 bet, youā€™ll be in line for the $250,000 top prize. If you prefer smaller bets, you can go as low as $0.10.

Conclusion

Okay, so thereā€™s a lot going on here, and I like that multiple features and modifiers are involved. It adds extra excitement to each spin, and if you can collect enough symbols to activate a few modifiers, it can lead to some great wins.

I have to admit, the Drop Dead Spin was confusing at first, and Iā€™m still not sure if I like it. Yes, it can trigger a Wild Blast, but Iā€™d rather focus on activating the other modifiers instead of this one.

The game wonā€™t make it onto my top list, but I donā€™t mind giving it a few spins, and I donā€™t think you will either.

Have you tried the Pop Zen slot, another BGaming release? It does remind me a bit of this game. The winning potential is definitely there, with a 12,000x max multiplier and a $384,000 top prize.
